During their initial conversation, Ann learns about John\u2019s needs, preferences and timeline for the move. She took notes on specific requirements, such as: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>desired neighborhoods<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>budget<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>must-have amenities<\/strong> for Johns new home <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>including that he will be bringing his beloved dog Jax with him on the trip. <strong>Dog beds, food and chew toys<\/strong> will be needed to complete the apartment. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Ann follows a detailed checklist to make sure everything has been taken care of on time and to a high specification:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Meeting the movers<\/strong>: it\u2019s important that John&#8217;s household goods arrive safely and on time. To achieve this Ann personally oversees the movers,\u00a0ensures that everything is accounted for and checks for damage<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ann has also obtained <strong>parking permits<\/strong> for the moving truck and ensured the service elevators in John\u2019s apartment building are reserved for the move<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Service professionals <\/strong>have been scheduled to <strong>assemble and arrange furniture<\/strong>, so John doesn\u2019t have to worry about any of those tasks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Alarm and locksmith installation<\/strong>: security is crucial, especially in a new place. Ann oversees the installation of an anti-theft system, ensuring John&#8217;s peace of mind in his new apartment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Take care of <strong>utilities<\/strong> (gas, water, electricity) and <strong>internet service provider<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Cleaning service coordination<\/strong>: moving can be messy.
